ASICS Flagship 5th Avenue

ASICS North America selected BKA to implement their NYC Flagship store on Fifth Avenue in collaboration with U.K. design Architect, Brinkworth. The store commands the corner of Fifth Avenue and 47th Street and occupies the building’s ground and cellar levels. The 6800 square foot store has over 3100 sf of selling and experiential space on the ground level and 2050 sf on the cellar level.
The ground level of the shop presents ASIC’s Performance line. The storefront perimeter features experiential elements that can be changed each season. Entering Performance, guests pass under a canopy of live plantings, creating a calm transition to the shop. The shop finishes of wood, stainless steel, and concrete, create a contrast of warmth and technology. The shop also features ASICS proprietary Motion ID fitting system.
On the cellar level, ASICS TIGER lifestyle brand is featured. The shop creates an “urban underground” environment, reminiscent of a NYC Subway station.
